About the Resourceful Human Project

We are living in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous times, (V.U.C.A) as noted by the U.S. Army War College over thirty years ago and tangled up in a “Global Problematique” as preciently pointed out by the Club of Rome over four decades ago. The world was as simple as it was ever going to get yesterday. Today and tomorrow are going to be more complicated.

How are we preparing the next generation for this? V.U.C.A and the tangle of interrelated issues such as climate volatility, pandemics, geopolitical complexities, economic uncertainty and a profound disconnection with nature and each other are a reality. What we find ourselves in the middle off, invites us to acknowledge that we may not be adequately prepared. It asks us to consider whether our children are headed to become Human Resources or Resourceful Humans? The simple aim of the Resourceful Human Project is to figure out how to empower Resourceful Humans. The simple aim is a map to help every woman, man and child find their way to even better.

Rahim Sajan, is the Chief Map Maker for the project. He is a Community Organizer, Teacher, Explorer and Orator.
