Making good decisions!
Learning is hard. No wonder we tend to overvalue what we most recently learned or we see resistance to new knowledge.
There is a tendency to resist new knowledge. A Human Resource tends to resist changing their minds, for various reasons, however a Resourceful Human is open minded and seeking quality decisions at any point in time. They are always updating their “priors” “Update your priors!” Might as well as be a motto for them!
“In stats lingo, “priors” are your prior knowledge and beliefs, inevitably fuzzy and uncertain, before seeing evidence. Evidence prompts an updating; and then more evidence prompts further updating, so forth and so on. This iterative process hones greater certainty and generates a coherent accumulation of knowledge.” (Roberts, S., 2020)

The continued concern to always be focused on good decision making as evidenced not only from what they draw on but the effects of a decision in immediate and long term horizons is a desired feature for a Resourceful Human. So update your priors!
